Any search plugin you create is stored in a public list - unless you register then you can make search plugins viewable only by you - so other people can use the search plugins which are created.

    Even though searchplugins.net has just launched there are still ideas to be included in the site, so additions and changes will always be on the horizon. Some of the future additions will include:

    • Ability to add tags to the search plugins to make them searchable on more than just the title
    • With tags will come the ubiquitous tag cloud
    • A generated page so registered users can let friends and family install your private plugins
    • Generated code for registered users to be able to display a list of their search plugins on a website
    • Ongoing improvements to the code and use of the site
